Concept Ads

A video message begins as an idea, and takes shape as a script and storyboard, a set of inspirations for the graphics designers.

After the static story board, a concept video shows the themes -- images, words, music, special effects -- that could appear in the final ad.  The concept video does not have to be to broadcast quality.  It's there so you can see what happens when the pictures and text come to life, at a small part of the final budget.

The campaign emphasizes that these are concept videos, not finished ads.  The timing has not been trimmed exactly, the public-domain images have not been replaced with top-of-the-line proprietary images, voiceover and musical backgrounds are suggested, and the legally-mandated candidate statement has not been inserted.  However, for potential supporters and donors, these ads will capture the tone of the campaign.
